Approval needed before you can get certain covered services, items, or drugs. Some services, items, and drugs are covered only if VillageCareMAX Full Advantage FIDA Plan, your IDT, or another specific provider authorizes them for you.
Covered services and items that need prior authorization are marked in the Covered Items and Services Chart in Chapter 4, Section D. Some drugs are covered only if you get prior authorization from VillageCareMAX Full Advantage FIDA Plan or the IDT. Covered drugs that need prior authorization are marked in the List of Covered Drugs
