At the University of San Simon in C

At the University of San Simon in Cochabamba, Bolivia, two Kellogg grants enabled faculty and students in the College of Medicine and Dentistry to bring health education and service to rural families. Working in the field, the medical teams soon learned that the people also wanted and needed agronomic information. A grant in 1979 to the College of Agriculture added an agricultural component to the medical effort. At the same time, a Foundation-funded project at the Federal University of Paraiba, Brazil, began with agricultural development.
